Itinerary
DayDestinationDescription
Day 1TrogirThis tiny historic town is home to its very own fortress, as well as a high concentration of palaces, churches and towers. Arrive early to explore the medieval museum that is Trogir. In the evening, perhaps make for one of the beautiful beaches nearby. Arrive early to explore the many sights of nearby Split.
Day 2ZadarJump aboard a local bus and take the scenic coastal route to seaside Zadar. Spend the afternoon admiring stunning collections of gold and silverwork housed in elaborate churches and then watch the magnificent sunset while walking along the musical steps of the Sea Organ. Then embrace the warm summer air and atmosphere of coastal Croatia at a small bar or cafe.
Days 3-5Rab IslandSoak up the sun on one of Rab's pristine sandy beaches or sail out to a nearby island to find a more secluded spot. Nature is what makes this island truly unforgettable, so why not rent a bike or hike through the Kalifront forest to uncover the magic on your own.
Day 6RovinjHalf a century of foreign rule created the charming collection of buildings in this small town. Admire the different styles of architecture, then kick back and enjoy local delicacies in one of the quaint cafes lining the crooked cobblestone streets of Rovinj.
Days 7-8VeniceThere is no city in the world quite like it. Marvel at the paintings within the Palace of the Doge and the mosaics in the Basilica di San Marco. Wander the maze of alleyways to discover shops, markets, galleries, churches and stunning buildings around every corner. No visit to Venice would be complete without a gondola ride on the canals.
