pride in bringing you the cuisine, style, and generosity of Italy.
On March 20, 2005, our family hosted a group of 45 other families on a Spring Break Cruise aboard the Costa Atlantica. Having not cruised on Costa in 30 years, we were a bit apprehensive, but what a trip it was! From the Greek line dancing to the Toga party (yes, we all dressed up) to the Miss Costa Atlantica Contest (where a bunch of foolish American women who knew not a word of Italian played Simon says in Italian), everyone in our multi-generational group (ranging in age from a 3-month old to an 82-year old) had a wonderful time.
The best testimonial to the fun everyone had is the fact that within six weeks of returning home, we had already sold 54 staterooms on a second Spring Break Cruise, the March 19, 2006 sailing of the Costa Mediterannea. These staterooms were sold entirely via word of mouth by those sailing with us in 2005 and long before our first written flyer or newsletter promoting the 2006 group.
